Bruce Kittle and his son, 49ers TE, George Kittle are teaming up to support our nation's heroes. On April 29th, 2023, Bruce is set to compete in the St. Anthony Tri in St. Petersburg, Florida, dedicating every mile of the race to Merging Vets and Players. Meanwhile, George in partnership with the NFL will be hosting a live auction that will be set to end the same evening of the race. This auction will feature multiple pieces of autographed game worn memorabilia from the 2022/23 season.

All proceeds from both efforts will be donated to Merging Vets and Players (MVP), a 501(c)3 nonprofit that helps Veterans and former Professional Athletes find a new team and a new mission after the uniform comes off.

Merging Vets and Players aims to ensure that no one feels alone during the process, providing support and resources to those who are transitioning out of the uniform. Kittle family contributions are aimed at raising awareness and funds to prevent death by suicide and to promote whole health practices among our Nation's heroes. For some, the biggest battle begins after the uniform comes off.
